The sound of “high and dry” is best described as deep gothic electronica, fused with spacial goth autoharp symphonies, deep mellotron overtures mixed with noises from unknown origins on the vast hour long debut. Comprised of Ryan Policky from the shoegaze group A Shoreline Dream among numerous other bands all appearing via Latenight Weeknight Records, with Andy Urmacher who made his debut on the latest Genessier EP. Themes and words written throughout basing their origins on the recollection of events the duo have had from the far reaches of the beyond. Beats are deep, layers of goth are aplenty, and a wash of psych and shoegaze layers entwine the cosmic, pulsing melodies.

Recorded from 2020-2023, Alien Gothic has taken the journey out of a world gone mad, to spread a sound that is both intoxicating and deep in layers, full of a huge assortments of instrumentation that both members took part in during it's creation. It's an hour of music that explores the journey of dreary cosmic members lives, confused by a place that has a deep fascination with itself.
